Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why don't you take insurance? A: Insurance companies dictate whether a service or procedure is covered, how much can be paid for a service or procedure, and they require excessive paperwork and documentation. We believe this interferes with and restricts the quality of medical care delivered. Since we do not take insurance, we are not bound by their rules.
Q: Can I bill my insurance company myself for your services? A: No. By law, participation in this medical care program prohibits us or you from submitting claims or receiving payment for services we provide.
Q: How can you provide so much care for this low fee? A: We have reduced our staff size and expenses to the lowest reasonable level, and have improved our efficiency. Also, the success of this program depends on your staying healthy, and on those requiring less medical care offsetting the cost of providing services to those requiring more.
Q: How do I get the dramatically discounted fees for labwork?
A: As a courtesy to our patients, a significant discount is automatic if your labwork is submitted to insurance. You may get even lower fees by not using insurance and choosing to pay for labwork yourself. Our partner outside laboratory then bills us for your labwork. We pay them and you pay us.
Q: Can I go on your plan for one month? A: Theoretically you could, but if you terminate your participation you may not be eligible to join the plan later.
Q: Do you take credit cards? A: Absolutely. Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
